🏃 Council Split Over Snap Ripley Track Meeting

A 4pm special meeting was called with 65 minutes’ notice, then councillors conditionally backed $2.5 million for a Ripley athletics track while Mayor Teresa Harding said she was unable to attend. Deputy Mayor Nicole Jonic cited a 5pm funding deadline, while Harding criticised the meeting’s timing and council process.

🎓 Camira State School Opens $12 Million Learning Centre

Camira State School has officially opened a two-storey $12 million centre with five learning spaces, an outdoor learning area and outside-school-hours care facilities. The new building gives local students more classroom space and dedicated before-and-after-school care. Facebook photos →
